How to create floating corner shelves

How to create floating corner shelves

When we speak to readers one of the biggest complaints about homes is that there just isn't enough storage space. Sometimes, this is true. Sometimes we think, maybe you just have too much stuff sitting in the garage (our editorial manager included!). But what we have actually found is that homeowners aren't utilising smart storage options enough.

By smart we mean storage options that don't take up floor space, that don't make a home feel smaller. But instead provide a home for objects that otherwise need floorspace to exist somewhere other than the garage. One of the best ways to do this is with floating shelves. Books, boxes, photo frames, CDs, DVDs, candles, ceramic and china bowls and kitchenware.

Instead of storing it, display it with some floating shelves. Our friends at Bunnings have put together the below handy video to show us just how easy it can be to do it yourself! So check it out and tell us, will you be giving this project a go?
